I sometimes find myself complaining about very minor things and sometimes get down about them too. But then I remind myself to be grateful for what I have because the more time I spend being grateful, the more uplifted I become. Often the things that get us down are things from the past or a fear of the unknowns in the future. Personally, I believe happiness exists in the now! Everyday I wake up and I try to give thanks for at least five things. Go ahead and try it. If you follow this method then in one week you will have been thankful for 35 things, in a month 150, and in a year 1,825… Wow! That’s a lot! You can do it. Be grateful and be happy.
